AUTOMATED SOLARAPP+ PERMIT APPLICATION  
				
			
			
			Contractors installing residential roof-mounted photovoltaic systems can apply for expedited permits via SolarAPP+. and the City's Online Permit Application. 
			If your project includes additional panels to existing solar or ground mounted solar, or if you wish to apply as an "owner-builder", please contact Development Services 310-285-1000 before applying via SolarApp+ our Online Permit Application.
			
			
			
				1. Submit for automated review through SolarAPP+.  
			
			
			
			
			
		
	  	
		
		
			2. Apply for the Solar Permit using the City's Online Permit Application   
		
			
			
				-  Complete the application & upload the SolarAPP+ Approval Document
					-  If the application is being completed by someone other than the licensed contractor, a contractor's agent authorization letter will be required.
 
- The permit will be auto issued and emailed to the email address on file as soon as the permit fees are paid online. 
				3. Schedule Inspection   
			
			
				
				- Once ready for inspection, schedule an inspection using the online  CitySmart Portal. 
				Upon the inspector's arrival, it is required to have a set of approved documents and the issued permit available on site. 
				4. SolarAPP+ Revisions   
			
			
			
				- For the permits issued through SolarAPP+, if a revision is necessary, please submit the revision through SolarAPP+. 
				Once processed in SolarApp+, you will be provided with a downloadable revised SolarAPP+ Approval Document.
				
				 
- Upload the revised SolarApp+ Approval Document using the City of Beverly Hills SolarAPP+ Online Permit Application
