Online Utility Application Instructions

Step 1. Utility or Work Activity Notice (WAN) Online Application Submittal

The Beverly Hills Permit Center processes permit requests for Utility Companies.

Utility permits are required before an applicant can engage in any excavation, construction, alteration, repair, or any other similar type of interference or obstruction in, on, or under any public street, alley, sidewalk, parkway, or any other public property, including, but not limited to, the installation, repair, maintenance, or removal of any pipe, conduit, duct or other utility or device. Beverly Hills Municipal Code section 8-2-1 outlines when a Utility permit is required. Certain utility companies may be eligible to obtain an annual Utility Blanket Permit.
